Who I am

This website is run by Lee Houghton. If you have any question about your details, email lee@getknowledge.co.uk.

What I collect and why

The contact form. Your name, email address, the topic you pick and your message. I use these to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to keep in touch about that work. The form is delivered to my inbox by Web3Forms. Messages are not added to any mailing list. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you've asked me to get back to you.

The newsletter. Your first name and email address, held by Kit (kit.com), the service that sends Looks Good on Paper. I use them only to send you the newsletter. The lawful basis is your consent, and every email has an unsubscribe link so you can leave any time.

Booking a call. If you book through my Calendly link, Calendly holds the details you enter so the meeting can be arranged.

Running the website. The site is hosted by Netlify, and its fonts come from Google Fonts. Like any website, these services see technical information such as your IP address and browser so they can deliver the page. This site does not set its own cookies or use advertising trackers.

How long I keep it

Contact messages are kept for as long as we're in conversation, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you get back in touch. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the details I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete them, or object to how I use them. Just email me. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
